
Natural Parks
Extending over 52 hectares, this park has a small river which runs through areas of Villeneuve Loubet, Le Colle-sur-Loup and Cagnes-sur-Mer. Originating from Grasse in the Alps, the river Wolf runs through gorges from the high limestone plateaus to the Mediterranean sea. Its winding paths and the relaxing river setting make it a perfect trail for those who enjoy walking.

The Escoffier Museum of Culinary Art
Escoffier was considered the most important French chef in the 19th and early 20th century for his culinary creations and restaurant kitchen developments. This museum is a must visit for gastronomy lovers and anyone looking to learn some French culinary history.

Chåteau de Villeneuve Loubet
Dating back to the 13th century, this medieval castle was used by the French King Francis I in 1538 to sign the Truce of Nice with the Emperor Charlses V. It was this very pact that put an end to the Italian war and the moment in history which gave this castle war status. Today, the castle is a historical monument which resides within a beautiful park and is a popular cultural attraction.

Canyon Forest
Swing into adventure at Canyon Forest, Villeneuve Loubet's tree-top adventure park. With four courses and levels to choose from, it is a great day out for all the family. Being located along the Le Loup River, you will find picnic benches dotted around for a spot of lunch and toilet facilities inside the Canyon Forest reception. As there is some level of risk, the centre does have some minimum requirements and reservations are advised.

Beaches
Plage de la Batterie: Located right beside Marina Baie des Anges, it has lots of showering facilities and activities. Alternatively, head over to Plage des Bouches du Loup located at the far end of Plage de la Batterie. Although this beach is naturally made of pebbles, sand is imported at the beginning of each summer, making it very popular with sun seekers and families.
